Framer has added a Chromatic Aberration shader to its library, available now in the Insert Panel under Shaders.
The shader splits color channels to simulate lens distortion, with four distinct modes: Radial, Swirl, Horizontal, and Vertical. It applies directly to assets, making it usable for static distortion effects or animated pulsing visuals without external tools.
The full update page at framer.com/updates/chromatic-aberration-shader shows implementation details worth checking if you want to understand how the modes differ in practice and where the effect breaks down.
