macOS 27 Golden Gate ships with more than an upgraded Siri. The 9to5Mac hands-on covers the full spread of changes beyond the AI headline, walking through specific features most users will miss in the initial coverage cycle.
The video matters because early reporting on Golden Gate collapsed into a single narrative around Siri. This walkthrough corrects that by cataloging the actual system-level changes, giving a more accurate picture of what Apple shipped and what it affects day to day.
Read the full breakdown if you want the complete feature list before Golden Gate reaches your machine. The specific changes documented here are the ones that will define how the OS actually behaves in practice, not just in the keynote highlight reel.
