Tomora is Norwegian singer-songwriter Aurora and Tom Rowlands, one half of the Chemical Brothers. Their debut record, Come Closer, is a direct line to 90s dance music, built on live percussion, techno beats, and Aurora's signature ethereal vocals.
The project surfaced at Coachella, where the duo performed on stage with giant drums and enough presence to stop accidental viewers cold. That live energy is the lens through which Come Closer needs to be heard: this is not background music.
