The EasySMX S10 Lite is the first third-party Switch 2 controller to offer native wireless connectivity, a feature previously locked to Nintendo's own $90 Pro Controller. At $34 with a discount code, it undercuts the Pro Controller by more than half. The original S10, already named the best Switch 2 controller, sold for around $50 and matched the Pro on rumble, TMR joysticks, amiibo support, and button feel.

The Lite trades some of those features away. What it loses matters, and the full hands-on breaks down exactly which cuts hurt and which are acceptable at this price point. TMR joysticks, which outlast Nintendo's hall-effect alternative, are a key differentiator in the S10 lineup, and whether the Lite keeps them is a question worth clicking for.

Native wireless on a third-party controller at this price sets a new floor for the Switch 2 accessory market. Competitors will follow. The S10 Lite arrives in multiple colors, including a pink variant that the reviewer calls one of the prettiest controllers they have used. Read the full hands-on at The Verge for the complete feature breakdown and verdict.
