Kevin O'Leary will cut his planned Utah data center from 40,000 acres to roughly 20,570 acres, removing 19,430 acres from Project Stratos near the Locomotive Springs Waterfowl Management Area.

The concession follows a direct demand from Utah Senate President J. Stuart Adams, who asked O'Leary to go further: a 75 percent reduction to 10,000 acres, plus water-minimizing technology requirements. O'Leary's offer is half of what Adams requested.
